A game to put behind us
Vikings beat Rudeboys again
The Rudeboys lost to the Vikings 32—12 to go 5—4 on the season. No need to worry, as our third place ranking is not affected by this outcome.
It was a game to forget, despite great individual effort.
We got off to a great start with a sustained drive and a deep touchdown to Steve. The Vikings got to third-and-goal, but a knockdown by Andrew gave the ball back to us.
After that, things turned sour.
Our defence allowed three long drives for scores, while our offence had the dropsies. At the end of the half it was 24—6. Travis got a touchdown in the fourth quarter but they answered with another. My player of the game for today has to be Andrew, because of the way he took charge of both the offence and defence, and didn't let us let up.
It felt like we were in this game, despite the lopsided first half. We made note of a few things we can improve on, should we meet this team again in the playoffs.
